Overall I am pretty happy with how this piece turned out, I think that it was a somewhat difficult but interesting challenge to try and transform this persons version of a monster.

It took three tries to get a form that did not end up drying out and could stand up on its own. Once I got the initial form, I then added water and used my fingers in a pinching motion to make the spikes extra sharp. After that I then underglazed it with a mix of red, orange, yellow, peach, cotton tail and brown to try and get as close to the picture as possible. Then after the bisque firing, I added coat of clear glossy glaze.

Some things I would improve upon if I were to do this again, would be to make sure that the feet were secure and were larger in width so they would stay to prevent breaking.
