Form: I made a solid cylinder of clay and then made a hole through the middle. Next I made indents in organic random shapes. I continued to deepen these holes and started to pull out the clay to make it more pedal shaped. I continued to do this till I got the desired shape. Next I smoothed it all out and made sure it was thin enough.

Glazes: First it was under-glazed with Dark blue, lavender, red and white. Then on top that is

Design:
To improve: I would make it out of 612 so that it is more sturdy and make the pedals bigger if possible. Finally I just wish it was a bit more smooth.

Inspiration: Mrs.Thompson showed the class of a video of an organic shape sculpture that I thought looked really interesting. So I took my own take on that, then making the shape similar to that of a flower. I then glazed the flower with similar colors as Van Gogh's painting.

The shape turned out great, I would just make the glaze a bit more pigmnented next time. And maybe I could add leaves for the base.
