I wanted to try a form on the wheel that was more expressive than the other cylinders that I had been throwing. (Low fire white). This was my second try, I first threw a cylinder and opened the middle. Finally compressed the top a bit.

Next time I would make it bigger, you can't fit much in it. Also I would work on thinning the bottom more either when throwing or trimming.
I decided to glaze this piece with a few of the Blick glazes (Lemon, White Emerald, apple) and a few of the Western glazes (Deep water, country blue) . I went for a more flowing and free form design. The different swirls could represent the crazy weather we have been having recently.

Also the many colors will hopefully look good with bright colors!
I am happy with the result. To improve I would make bigger and thinner at the bottom. Also add more glaze layers on the yellow, so that it really pops!
